The following repositories provide access to the records of dissertation issued in Canada and Europe. Records provide bibliographic information, abstracts, and/or full-text.

Theses Canada
Over 50,000 digital theses or dissertations are available from the Library and Archives Canada. Select "Electronic Theses" on the search screen for full-text records.
DART-Europe E-theses Portal
Over 130,000 full-text dissertations are available from 230 participating universities from 17 European countries.
EThOS
EThOS is the UK’s national thesis service. which provides access to approximately 450,000 records of which 160,000 are full text. You must register to download the full text.

From the Publisher, ProQuest, PQDT Open provides the full text of open access dissertations and theses free of charge. The authors of the dissertations and theses have opted to publish as open access.

From ProQuest, this site allows you to browse the abstracts from the awarding universities. The site provides an option to purchase the dissertations.
