Books or Monographs

BOOKS or monographs provide comprehensive treatment of topics. Two sources are used to locate print books: CAVALOG and WorldCat Several sources are used to locate e-books: CAVALOG and those found on the Electronic Book Collections page

WorldCat is the world's largest online catalog, documenting the holdings of thousands of libraries throughout the world.

WorldCat is useful when:

  • You want to know what items exist on a certain subject.
  • You want to find works by a particular author.
  • You need a specific item and want to find a library that has that item.

 EBSCO eBooks Academic Collection This collection offers over 150,000 titles in all academic discipines. 

Gale Virtual Reference Library
This collection offers reference titles in business, education, history, law, social science, technology, etc.
