Holy Spirit Library uses the Library of Congress Classification System. Developed for the United States Library of Congress in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, Library of Congress Classification (LCC) divides all knowledge into 21 basic classes. Each class is designated by a letter. These classes are then subdivided, moving from general to specific.
Holy Spirit Library's Collection is searchable through our "Cavalog" (most libraries have a catalog, but as Cabrini CAValiers we have a CAValog).
Cavalog is your tool for finding BOOKS (print and electronic), DVDS, and CDS.
When searching Cavalog, it is often helpful to narrow your search by either LOCATION or FORMAT.
