Though it is best to consult the APA Style Guide when writing your papers and building your citations, citation “cheat sheets” are provided by the library to help you format your your in-text and reference list citations. The APA cheat sheet is below, and cheat sheets for other citation styles are available on the library's website.
The Purdue University Online Writing Lab (OWL) is a great resource when citing soruces with APA style (among others). It not only provides examples in a format and style guide but also gives the theory behind citation styles and why they are used.
